George George Park in Clinton Township

exercise family time fun stuff to do
George park photos

George George Memorial Park is a great way to get some exercise for you and your little ones. Right now it has a 4.8 / 5 rating on Google and that's because it is a beautiful up to date park with a large play set, swings, little hills for picnics, and long walk ways. My family and I frequently go here for a couple of hours in the evening after my son gets out of school. They also have bathrooms here that are usually clean and the walk ways are ADA accessible.

Parking

The city just built a new parking area too! The only time we've run into parking space problems is when the local high school is taking pictures for prom night. If you have a kayak there is a  your boat right into the Clinton River.

Playground

There are 3 main playgrounds, including one for toddlers. Everything ranging from circular slides to plastic mountains that my son loves to climb. Plus there are climbing nets, swings, and long platforms to run on. There is a safety swing and shorter slides too. We especially like when my son gets to make new friends and run around with them.

Park Grounds

This is probably my favorite part because the grounds appear similar to Cranbrook campus. Very well taken care of and planned out. There are nice dogwood tress as well as a water attraction next to a large field where you can sit and enjoy it. The bushes right next to the playground have been slightly hollowed out by kids who make them their fortress or hide and seek area. Plus there are multiple picnic tables and benches to sit on and have a nice family meal together.

I rate this park a 10/10 + 1
